Carl Christoffer “Calle” Haglund is a Finnish politician, former chairman of the Swedish People’s Party and the former Minister of Defence. He was member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2009 to 2012. He has broad experience in the Government working with different organizations, municipal and corporate boards of directors. In his new position as the CEO for the Sunshine Kaidi New Energy Group, Carl is in charge of constructing a second-generation €1bn biofuel refinery in Ajos, Kemi, Finland.
Haglund’s key themes are of the economic situation, forest industry, corporate management, investment, security, change of leadership in politics and Nordic cooperation. He is an expert speaker, who has a strong experience and views on entrepreneurship and the business world.
